Mr. Amit Pratap Singh serves as the Faculty-in-Charge of the Centre for Parliamentary Studies at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal. He is an Assistant Professor in Business Laws and has been associated with NLIU since February 2019.

Mr. Singh graduated in law from the Faculty of Law, University of Allahabad, and pursued his LL.M. in Access to Justice from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, where he was awarded the Best Research and Dissertation Award.

Prior to joining NLIU, he worked with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India at the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, where he was instrumental in policy research on corporate insolvency resolution and liquidation regulations. He also served as an Assistant Professor at Amity Law School, Delhi, teaching competition and investment law.

At NLIU, Mr. Singh has been a driving force behind several innovative academic initiatives. He introduced and coordinated the Graduate Insolvency Programme, a collaborative effort between IBBI and NLIU, Bhopal. He has also been instrumental in implementing the e-Nyayaganga Project, a digital legal literacy initiative funded by the Department of Justice, Government of India.

Under his guidance, the Centre for Parliamentary Studies has flourished, organizing certificate courses in collaboration with Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, publishing the Journal for Legislative Drafting and Parliamentary Research, and hosting numerous guest lectures and academic events.
